Three Minute Thesis: 'Making Vaccines Safer'

21 May, 2015

Did you know that to read an entire PhD thesis out loud it would take around 9 hours? Three Minute Thesis is a national competition that challenges PhD students to give clear and engaging 3 minute presentations about complex research topics, with no props other than a single PowerPoint slide.

Andreia Leite studied for her PhD on near-real time vaccine safety surveillance using UK electronic health records, as part of the HPRU in Immunisation Theme 1 (Electronic Health Records). In May 2015 she participated in the School’s Three Minute Thesis competition, and you can see her presentation here

Her full thesis is available online here
